Freddy Whizz Compostable cat litter & pet supplies were created to provide an eco-friendly, environmentally safe solution for kitty litter & reducing waste. Our odour free cat litter is compostable, biodegradable, Australian made & owned & we ship Australia wide! Your indoor cat will love it!
In July 2020, Freddy Whizz, a red Burmese kitten, joined our family, as a brother to Jinxy, our brown Burmese cat. 
It was during COVID lockdown, and it quickly became apparent that boys were smelly. I was changing his cat litter tray 2-3 times a day, scooping the clumps into a plastic bag and tossing them into the bin. Then it hit me... with 2 indoor cats, I was on track to chuck over 1000 bags of cat litter into landfill.
With ~3,7 million pet cats in Australia, that meant millions of bags of cat litter were potentially landing up in our landfill, daily! There had to be a better, more environmentally friendly way.
After many months of research and testing, my husband and I are thrilled to introduce a holistic, compliant by design solution, that not only impacts the environment positively, but reduces pollution and waste as well.
Our organic eco-friendly cat litter, made from renewable Australian agriculture, does the basics well:
- fast clumping,
- 99% dust free and
- superior odour control
- compostable!
It has the added benefit however, in that it becomes a slow release nitrate once used, and when composted or placed directly into the soil, it releases goodness back into the earth.
Both our biodegradable pet waste daily scoop bags and litter packaging bags are compostable, with both Australian & Global certification. Even the cardboard delivery box can be composted or recycled if preferred.
